Sweet Wheat® begins with planting 100% organic wheatberries in mineral-rich organic soil that has been prepared to exact proven specifications. In this rich environment the wheatberries sprout and grow into their early grass phase, where they pull all the essential minerals and other nutrients from the soil into the plants. The Wheatgrass is cut at peak potency, just before the Wheatgrass "joints" or goes into the reproductive phase where it shoots up to form a seed head, and uses up these stored nutrients.
Once cut, the Wheatgrass is kept at very low temperatures as it is rushed to be juiced and freeze dried to a powder preserving all the fresh potency that makes Sweet Wheat so easy to assimilate. From soil to spoon, every step of Sweet Wheat® production is designed for maximum potency and freshness.
