Kirkland Organic Salsa with the RED CAP is wonderful and I would give a higher rating than 5.. It has taste and a flavor that everyone I know who as tried it, enjoys.
The replacement salsa I purchased recently, with same name but with a slightly different design label and a BLACK CAP, has less flavor but more burn. The ingredients list on Black Cap jars have different peppers in ingredient list. We enjoy flavor, not having tongue burning. For burn eat burning hot peppers.

Terrible Salsa. Taste bland. Really about the worst I have ever eaten. Sorry I bought two jars. What a waste. Expected more from Costco. Kirkland brand is usually pretty good, but not this.

I'm EXTREMELY picky about my salsa...I have to say this is in my top two for all time best salsas and that's comparing it to a family friends recipe that they go and hand pick their peppers and ingredients in yakima and apparently has been in their family for several generations. It is a great balance between sweet and spicy... no other jar salsa comes close... but mt gringo salsa would be a close 2nd! Definately worth buying!

Bought this at Costco on a whim and now it's the only Salsa that I eat. Amazingly good!!

All I can say is WHOA! I avoided this on the shelf for weeks cuz it was 'generic'...holy smokes was I wrong. INCREDIBLY FRESH TASTING AND EXCELLENT UNIQUE FLAVOR...BUY BUY BUY.
