There are 8 forms of Vitamin E (alpha, beta, gamma, and delta forms of both tocopherols and tocotrienols). Beware of supplements offering the dl-alpha-tocopherol form (notice the L after the D) which is a synthetic form and only two-thirds as effective as the natural form.
